More Information
What is a Baby Bottle Campaign?
A Baby Bottle Campaign is an educational tool to raise awareness and funds for East End Pregnancy Center (EEPC). Their ministry reaches some of the most vulnerable women, babies, and families in Richmond. Women and families deserve medical services, practical resources, and most importantly the love of Christ when making critical life decisions. This campaign will allow us to continue to fund our operations and minister to those who find themselves in very difficult scenarios.
What kind of free services does the East End Pregnancy Center offer?
The East End PRC offers pregnancy tests, prenatal vitamins, ultrasounds to confirm pregnancy, individualized parenting and mentoring classes, emergency baby essentials, adoption referrals, abortion education,* post-abortion support, and referrals to community resources and churches. Most importantly, the EEPC offers prayer and Gospel-centered guidance for their clients. *EEPC does not refer anyone to abortions.
Who participates in a campaign?
Churches, schools, clubs, home-schooling communities, businesses, and community organizations. These groups enable thousands of people of all ages and all walks of life to get involved with the EEPC's life-affirming ministry.
How does the campaign work?
When groups take a baby bottle home, they are encouraged to pray for EEPC and to consider financially supporting our ministry. They can reach out to anyone: family, friends, businesses, co-workers, church members, etc. The campaigns are usually scheduled for one month. The bottles can be filled with change, checks (made payable to EEPC), or cash, and it is easy to give online as well;
www.richmondisforlife.com or text, “GIVE” to 804-531-3372 to go directly to the giving portal.
Who counts the money? Can we get a report of the total funds raised?
The EEPC! Their financial team handles the contents of the bottles from each campaign. Coins do not need to be rolled as they take them directly to the bank for processing. All checks are deposited electronically. Several weeks after the campaign ends, the campaign coordinators will be given a total of all coins, cash, online gifts, and checks.
The East End Pregnancy Center is so thankful for the generosity of the Richmond community, which makes all of our services at East End Pregnancy Center FREE of charge to patients and their families!
