To whom shall I go oh Lord? For I have journeyed long and far with you From my fishing boat to the walls of Jerusalem From my dark lack of knowledge and will To where I am today with you
To whom shall I go oh Lord? For I have left all in my life behind, to follow I have risked all to be near you I have listened long and seen much Words and works beyond my understanding
To whom shall I go oh Lord? For I have seen your marvelous works Things that only a man of God could do In you I have found peace and strength For I have seen your love and compassion
To whom shall I go oh Lord? For I have heard your words in my heart And in them have redirected my life In them I have felt your power and authority And have at last found peace and direction
To Whom shall I go oh Lord? Through the calm and the storm I have followed Shall I now turn away from you and leave When now that which you say is hard to hear When now which you require is difficult to do Or shall I move even closer to you
To whom shall I go oh Lord? For in you I have found truth and life For in you I have found peace and mercy For in you I have found holy direction For in you I have found purpose and love
Dear Jesus, Help me to have the strength To hear when the message is hard To feel when the hurt blocks all To follow when the road is rough To believe when I don’t fully understand To love when it is difficult To trust when I am frightened and confused To follow you from darkness into the light
