We offer the following faith formation options for families with elementary aged children, grades Kindergarten-5th grade:
Classroom Based Faith Formation (Led by a Volunteer Catechist)
Choose one session:
Sundays 10:30am-11:45pm
Wednesdays 4:15pm-5:30pm
Wednesdays 6:00pm-7:15pm
Catechists will assist parents in forming their children in the faith through the support of a weekly classroom program. If you intend to register your children for this option, we encourage you to look over the " Support Our Programs" page to see how you can share your gifts/talents to support ministry to the children and families of St. Michael.
See the "Classroom" page for complete class schedules and mark these dates as well as the additional family events currently scheduled in your family calendar now!
Family Based At-Home Faith Formation (Parent Led)
Families who register for this option will be provided with a family scrapbook pack, a student activity book and Parent instruction guide. Each month, from September through May families will be living the faith at home while learning and all according to their own schedule. This is a great option for busy families who want to grow in faith together but whose schedule makes attending the classroom program a challenge.
If this is the option you are choosing, please mark your calendar for a Parent Orientation/Training on Monday, September 20th at 6:30pm in the Parish Hall. During this meeting you will given your materials, and an overview of how to use them. This is a great opportunity to review the materials, ask questions and connect with other parents!
See the "Family Based At-Home" Page for the calendar of parent meetings/check-ins and mark these dates as well as the additional family events currently scheduled in your family calendar today!
