Faith Formation ministries support the parish by providing liturgical, devotional, and educational programs that serve to teach and enhance the faith journey for every age and every stage.

Cenacle of Divine Mercy
This group meets weekly to discuss the words Jesus spoke to St. Faustina in the context of Scripture and the Catechism. Members seek to live out the message of Divine Mercy: to increase each person's individual holiness; perform works of mercy; and spread God's message of mercy.

Charismatic Prayer Group
The Charismatic Prayer Group is a loving Christian group that supports those who choose to walk in the Lord. The Holy Spirit is the central focus of gatherings. The Group meets weekly, and they host retreats and seminars.

Eucharistic Adoration
Adoration is a monthly one-hour commitment on the first Thrusday of the month. We need adults and youth willing to commit to spending an hour in the Blessed Sacrament Chapel in adoration of the Blessed Sacrament.

Intercultural Council (ICC)
The Intercultural Council meets on a quarterly basis to discuss cultural awareness and opportunities at parish and in the diocese to celebrate the cultures of the world contained in our Universal Catholic Church. All cultures and ethnicities are encouraged to participate.

Marriage Enrichment
Teams of Our Lady is a small, couples-based faith formation program that meets in the homes of the couples in the small group. All discussion and reflection materials are provided. Leadership training and clergy support are included.
Order of Christian Initation of Adults (OCIA)
Known often as simply OCIA, this is the process for those who are not baptized or who have been baptized in another faith tradition and wish to enter the Catholic Church. Group meets weekly. We need OCIA team members and fully-initiated Catholics to act as sponsors to walk the journey with our catechumens and candidates.

Outreach in Love (OIL)
Are you an adult who works well with adults who have special needs/disabilties? Outreach in Love meets on a regular basis to provide faith formation to adults with special needs or disabilities to help them participate in a large group for sessions that include scripture, catechesis, arts and crafts, fellowship with peers, and a snack.

Richmond Pilipino Class (RPC)
The Richmond Pilipino Class is the Philippine cultural-enrichment program open to participants from all cultural backgrounds. Children (ages 5 and up), youth, and adults are welcome to join sessions that include Language (basic conversational Pilipino), Philippine History, Music, Dance, Culinary Arts, and Mental Wellness. Community service opportnities available for middle and high school students. ICC meets weekly.

Rosary Prayer Group
The Rosary Prayer Group meets to pray the Rosary and the Divine Mercy Chaplet on the third Friday of each month. All are welcome!

St. Mary's Hospital Rosary Ministry
St. Michael parishioners participate in St. Mary's Hospital Rosary Ministry by praying the Rosary every FRiday in the Chapel at 3 PM. The Rosary is broadcast to all patient rooms. Onsite training is provided for all volunteers. No experience is necessary.
Vocations Cross Ministry
The Vocations Cross Ministry supports those pursuing a vocation to the priesthood or religious life, as well as encouraging young people to answer God's call. Those volunteering for this ministry agree to pray for vocations to the priesthood and religious life for one month by accepting the Vocations Cross and prayer card at each Mass on the first weekend of the month.

Walking with Purpose (WWP)
Walking with Purpose is a Catholic women's Bbile study that meets weekly on Thursday evenings or Friday mornings. In-person and virtual sessions are offered.

Children's Faith Formation Ministries
Children's Liturgy of the Word (CLOW)
Children's Liturgy of the Word is an opportunity for children in elementary school to experience the exact same parts of Mass as the rest of the congregation, but in a unique and interactive way. Age-appropriate language is used to bring the Mass readings to life weekly at the 9:15 AM Mass. Children are dismissed from Mass to the Day Chalep bu the pastor or deacon after the Opening Prayer and will return during the Prayers of the Faithful.

Elementary Faith Formation & Sacrament Preparation
Elementary Faith Formation provides children the opportunity to learn about and love Jesus through the Mass, the Catechism, Sacred Scripture, and Sacramental Preparation. Family and At-Home options are available. Volunteers servec as catechists, hall monitors, and small group leaders. Sacrament Preparation volunteers are needed to help children preparefor First Communion and First Reconciliation. These volunteers meet monthly to prepare or help with retreats, lessons, and Masses.

Vacation Bible School (VBS)
Vacation Bible School is a weeklong, themed adventure into the Catholic faith. The program includes elementary and middle school options for participants. Volunteers serve as crew leaders, station leaders, preparation crew, and hall monitors.
