April 2 Rev. Laurie "LJ" Jaworski Associate Director Frontier Fellowship
Laurie Jaworski, better known as LJ, was born and raised in Connecticut and moved to California in 1990 to serve with Youth With A Mission (YWAM). She attended Fuller Seminary and graduated with a Master of Arts in Intercultural Studies with a concentration in Leadership Development.
After graduation, LJ's dedication to her faith led her to serve as a pastor of missions in various capacities at four churches in California and one in Virginia. In the last 20+ years, she has trained short-term teams, taught at Perspectives of the World Christian Movement, led over 50 international short-term mission trips, developed vibrant mission ministries in local churches, and partnered with mobilization ministries.
Currently, she is starting to serve as an associate director with Frontier Fellowship. This new role will allow LJ to mobilize more local churches, inviting believing communities to engage people groups where the Good News of Jesus and His Kingdom is not yet known. She attends Community West Church in the West End. She serves there by distributing communion during services, celebrating liturgy, and mentoring young leaders.
When she's not catalyzing groups of believers to missions, LJ loves home decorating, watching British television programs, and caring for her two Siamese kitties, Cashmere and Jasper. She also finds joy in mission history and historical research.
