This weekend, Masses with a congregation have returned in the Diocese of Richmond, including at St. Michael Parish. While we are excited to begin gathering again, things will look, feel, and sound a bit different for the foreseeable future.
At this current time, we will be celebrating two weekend Masses with an in-person congregation.
Given the capacity restrictions during this first phase, there will be no open seating at our two weekend Masses. If you and your family would like to join us, you must include yourself in the lottery for any given weekend.
Do not feel that attendance is mandatory, just because it is available.
A pre-recorded Mass will continue to be streamed on our Facebook Page at 11:15 AM every Sunday for the foreseeable future. Please remember that the obligation to attend Sunday Mass continues to be suspended in the Diocese of Richmond. As we have stressed in the past, if you fall within the 'vulnerable' category, as defined by the CDC, we recommend you stay home.
If you are considering entering the lottery to attend a weekend Mass, please take a moment to read all the important safety guidelines and lottery instructions: Returning to Mass.
