When & Where?
The Steubenville Youth Conference we will be attending will be held on Friday, July 8th through Sunday, July 9, 2022 at the Infinite Energy Center (6400 Sugarloaf Parkway, Duluth, GA 30097) near Atlanta, Georgia. The St. Michael group, traveling with the diocese, will leave the morning of Thursday, July 7th. All participants will be housed at hotels located near the Infinite Energy Center.
Travel? Lodging? Food?
We will be traveling by bus to Duluth, Georgia, which is approximately a ten hour drive. Teens will be housed in hotels near the Infinite Energy Center with four teens per hotel room. While the staff makes efforts to room teens of the same gender from our group together, there may be teens from other parishes in a room depending on how our attendence numbers work. Meals and snacks will be served at the conference, but teens should bring money for dinner on Thursday and Sunday during our drive.
Our group will leave from a Richmond-area parish (TBD) around noon on Thursday, July 7th and would return back to the parish around 10/11pm on Sunday, July 10th. Specific details on departure on July 7th will follow.
In order to receive the St. Michael rate and participate in the trip, participants must partake in all aspects of the trip. For liability reasons, participants cannot opt to ride separately or stay in other accommodations and still be considered part of the diocesan/parish experience.
