Youth Ministry sessions and activities require support in the form of: Core team, snack/food support, cleaning up/disinfecting, taking photos, assisting with the planning and set up of special events and more. Many of these opportunities occur while nights and events are happening. In addition, there are additional opportunities in which you can support our ministry efforts from home or during special events. As partners in the fostering of your teen's faith, we expect that families will support our efforts as a parish in some way. We cannot be effective partners in instilling the faith in our young people without your help. We expect that EVERY parent can do SOMETHING, for these gifts shared, large and small, will help to assure “our children will have faith."

I Am Interested in Being a Core Team Member This Year!
Three Qualifications: Love young people. Love Christ and His Church. Want to bring Teens Closer to Christ. The rest can be taught! Core members help with the planning and facilitating of Life Nights, Confirmation Nights, retreats, and other youth ministry activities. They help foster the relational ministry mentoring environment and engage reguarly with the teens in small groups. You CAN do this. If interested, please check the box below. We will contact you upon registration submission. Core members with teens in the minstry will be credited one teen's dues at the summer rate of $80 in appreciation for their willingness to serve. (This is different than volunteering periodically with dinner, etc. All parents of teens in the ministry are expected to help with this a few times a year.) 

I hereby give permission for pictures and/or video/recordings of my child(ren) engaged in activities related to Youth Ministry, or other parish events/events taking place on parish property to be posted/published within St. Michael Catholic Church's various media forms, as well as media platforms for, and connected with, the Diocese of Richmond. I understand that this includes, but is not limited to, the parish bulletin (Defender), Facebook page, Instagram accounts, X feed, displays and/or monitors on property, and for use within parish activities themselves. I also understand that my child(ren)'s full name will never be publicly associated with the photo.

All sales are final after the indicated registration deadline (September 8th) has passed, as funds/data are used by the parish to budget out the year, and/or purchase supplies ahead of time whether they end up being used by the registrant or not.
